WORCESTER-Carol A. (McKiernan) Kelly, 68, of Worcester passed away peacefully among loving family at home.

Her husband of 42 years, Thomas J. Kelly a Korean War Veteran and Retired Worcester Firefighter died in 2000. She leaves three sons, Thomas J. Kelly and his wife Susan of Worcester, Mark S. Kelly and his wife Jill of Shrewsbury and George M. Kelly a Worcester Police Officer and his wife Heidi M. (Peterson) Kelly of Paxton; a daughter, Karen Kasabula and her husband Richard of Stroud, OK; a brother, John J. "Tucky" McKiernan, Ret. Lt, Worcester Fire Department, and his wife Doris of Auburn; a sister-in-law, Nora McKiernan of Worcester; ten grandchildren who delighted her life as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves close family friends, Betty Lamusta, Carol Hesselton and Beverly Anthony. She was predeceased by two brothers, George McKiernan who was a Worcester Firefighter and school teacher and Thomas McKiernan.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of George A. and Catherine N. (Motherway) McKiernan and graduated from Commerce High School. Mrs. Kelly was a long time employee at Micro-Network in Worcester and a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, March 15 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 25 Fales Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Visiting hours are Wednesday, March 14 from 5:00-8:00 PM in the funeral home.
