JEFFERSON- Carol A. Murray, 65, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester.
She was born in Worcester on November 8, 1952 a daughter of Dorothy L. (Freeland) Hughes and the late Hughie E. Hughes. For many years, Carol worked at Bergson's Ice Cream, Sandwich Works and many other area restaurants. Her happiest moments were spent with her loving family who will miss her dearly.
Carol leaves behind her loving husband, Gary V. Murray; a daughter, Serena Zumpano of Holden; her mother, Dorothy Hughes of Worcester; three grandsons, Thomas V. Murray of Jefferson, T. Russell Truscott of Marlborough and Ryan G. Zumpano of Holden; her brothers, Donald Hughes of Petersam and Robert Hughes of Worcester; her sisters, Deborah Dugan of Winchendon and Cheryl DiBenedetto of Worcester; many nieces and nephews and extended family members.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Jennifer M. Murray and two brothers, Edward and Ronald Hughes.
