Carol A. Wiggin

Boylston- Carol Ann (Morrissey) Wiggin passed away Thursday, October 14 at UMASS Medical Center.

Her husband of 47 years, Bruce Wiggin, died in 2017. She leaves her daughter, Christy M. Hays and her husband Mark of Boylston; three grandchildren, Michael P. Hays, Chloe E. Hays and Katie A. Hays; also a brother, William J. Morrissey of Framingham, a sister, Linda J. Haskins of Exeter, NH and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Jason, in 2010.

Born in Natick MA, the daughter of William and Virginia (Glancy) Morrissey, Carol graduated from Natick High School and Quincy College.

After several years in Natick, Carol and her family enjoyed many years together on the Cape in Yarmouth, MA. A licensed Practical Nurse, Carol served the residents of the nursing home where she worked with dedication and enthusiasm. She took great pride and joy in her family and in her three grandchildren, in particular. She loved living near the ocean and taking trips to the beach. A dog lover, Carol rescued many dogs over the years, which also brought great joy.

Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Rescue League at arlboston.org.
