Worcester-Carol (Rochette) Wright, 75, died Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home after a brief illness.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of Roger and Delima (Siroir) Rochette and graduated from Classical High School. Carol continued her education at Clark University and St. Joseph's College and later earned her Masters of Science at University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
Carol worked as a lab technician at various hospitals for many years including Framingham Union Hospital, Saint Vincent Hospital, and most recently UMass Memorial Healthcare-University Campus, where she recently retired after 35 years.
She will be missed by her husband of 46 years, Richard L. Wright, a daughter, Rebecca J. Easter and her husband Mark of Jacksonville, FL, a brother, David Rochette and his wife Susan of Foley, AL. She also leaves six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, nephews, nieces and a great nephew. Carol was predeceased by her daughter, Margaret A. Alvarez and grandson, Joshua A. Briggs.
Carol and Richard enjoyed the many trips they took with the Leicester senior center and the summers they spent at their home in Harwich. She loved spending time in her yard tending to her flower gardens.
Funeral Services to celebrate and honor Carol's life will be held Tuesday, March 26th at Callahan Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street with visiting hours from 9:00-11:00 am immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 11 am. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.
