Carol Susan Zakarian

WEST BOYLSTON-Carol S. (LaPointe) Zakarian, 70, of West Boylston died Thursday, October 28 in UMASS Medical Center.

She leaves her husband of 45 years, George S. Zakarian; a son, Gregory Zakarian and his wife, Alexis; two grandchildren, Delilah Williams and Andrew Newman; two siblings, Guy Hoover of Lincoln, NH and Everett LaPointe, Jr. of Florida and nieces and nephews. A sister, Mary Jane Kelly predeceased her. She was born in North Woodstock, NH daughter of Everett and Florence (Parent) LaPointe and graduated from, Lin-Wood High School.

Carol was a department lead for 27 years at the David Clark Company in Worcester. She was a member of the Armenian Church of Our Saviour. Carol enjoyed reading, going to the casino and puzzles. She loved playing card with her family and working in her garden.

Visiting Hours will be held Monday, November 1 from 4 to 6pm at Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 2 at 11am in the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, West Boylston. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Armenian Church of Our Saviour.
