Caroline M. Ward

WEST BOYLSTON-Caroline M. (Dudek) Ward, 80, passed away Wednesday, September 2.

Her husband, Paul J. Ward died in 1993. She leaves two sons, Michael G. Ward of Lowell and Ken J. Ward of W. Boylston; a daughter, Teri M. Laman of Venice, FL; two brothers, Stanley Dudek of New Hampshire and Chet Dudek of Chicago; a sister, Jeb Degrasse and her husband Ray of Burlington; a sister-in-law, Mary Brennan of Northport, FL, six grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was born in Lawrence the daughter of John and Karolina (Kobus) Dudek and graduated from Waltham High School in 1946. She was a former member of St. Charles Borromeo Church in Waltham and belonged to its choir. She loved the Red Sox, knitting, crossword puzzles and meeting up with friends for their birthday luncheons.

Visiting hours will be Friday, September 4 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester with a prayer service at 7:30 PM. Funeral Mass and burial will be held in Venice, FL. www.callahanfay.com.
