Cassidy D. Schnorf

WORCESTER: Cassidy Delane Schnorf, age 13, of Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on March 16,2026, due to a medical emergency. Known lovingly to those closest to her as “Deedo”, Cassidy was a bright and joyful young girl whose warmth touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Born on November 8, 2012, in Worcester, Cassidy was a lifelong resident of the city. She was in the 8th grade at Forest Grove Middle School. Among her many pastimes and hobbies, Cassidy loved making bracelets, arts and crafts, playing her VR, hockey and gymnastics. Cassidy loved her cat Tiggs and all animals. She loved taking trips to the beach and vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard. Most of all she enjoyed being with her family.

Cassidy was survived by her father, Benjamin P. Schnorf, her mother Christine R. (Ridings) Schnorf; her sister, Nevaeh Araujo, paternal grandparents, Paul and Dale Schnorf, maternal grandfather, Ronald Ridings, aunts, uncles and many cousins. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Elaine Ridings.

Our family was not expecting the loss of Cassidy or her life to be cut so short so soon. We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of Cassidy forever. She was the most loving soul and joy to be around. She will be missed forever.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 29, from 2 until 5PM in the Callahan Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A Funeral Service will be held, Monday, March 30, at 11AM in the Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
