Charles Burton

CLINTON-Charles Burton, 78, of 309 Church St died Saturday, March 13th in Millbury Health Care Center. He leaves 3 daughters, Cathy L. Catanzano of Colorado, Cheryl L. Hess of Worcester, Charlene Putnam of Grafton; his former wife, Norma (Louiselle) Burton; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was born in Newbury, NH son of William J. and Cecelia (Prew) Burton. He graduated from Newbury High School and was an Army veteran of WW II. Mr. Burton was a supervisor for the James Monroe Wire & Cable Corp. for many years before retiring. He formerly worked for ITT Supernauts in Clinton. He was a member of the VFW Post 523 in Clinton and enjoyed skiing, tennis, swimming and golf.
