Charles E. Fitzgerald

WORCESTER-Charles E. Fitzgerald, 86, of 425 Pleasant Street, died Monday, August 22 in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves two nieces Kerry Blanchard of Charlton and Kelly Langley of Taunton.

He was born in Worcester, the son of Charles E. and Lucy (Burke) Fitzgerald and graduated from North High School. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II. Mr. Fitzgerald worked at Thompson Steel & Wire for 35 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of the Britton Square Legion Post 436 and United Steelworkers of America.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 25 at 2:00 PM in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street is directing arrangements.
