SOUTHBRIDGE-Charles H. "Charlie" Sirmans, 73, of Southbridge died Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at U-Mass Memorial Hospital. He was born in Nashville, GA son of the late Bryant and Pearl (Connell) Sirmans and resided in Panama City, FL before moving to Massachusetts.
Charlie owned and operated May Street Auto in Worcester for several years and then continued working in the auto repair industry until retirement. After retirement Charlie drove a student van at Becker College. He loved to play pitch, go fishing and enjoyed his annual summer trips to Lake Champlain.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 40 years, Susan C. (LaRose) Sirmans, four children, Charles A. Sirmans, Sherrie L. Sinni and her husband Jeff of CT, Bryant Simans and Joseph Sirmans and his wife Kimberly, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He also leaves two brothers, Jimmy and Arthur, a sister, Linda Jacobs and her husband Wayne and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by two brothers, James and Billy and a sister Joanne.
Visiting hours will be held at Callahan Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester on Sunday, July 15th from Noon until 2:00pm immediately followed by a Prayer Service at 2:00pm.
