Cheryl Dawn Nolan

WEST BOYLSTON-Cheryl D. (Krouse-Renaud) Nolan, 57, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, September 21 at the Rose Monahan Hospice House.
She leaves her husband of 37 years, Christopher A. Nolan, Sr.; three children, Jennifer M. Young and her husband, Robert of Greenville Junction, ME, Christopher A. Nolan, Jr. and Daniel P. Nolan both of West Boylston; two grandchildren, Les and Jaiden; her mother and father, Marilyn (Webster) and Curtis Renaud of West Boylston; her brothers, Dodson R. Renaud and his wife, Ann Marie and Curtis P. Renaud and his wife, Angela all of Texas; her birth father, Gerard R. Krouse of Largo, FL and nieces and nephews. A brother, Gerald M. Krouse predeceased her. She was born in Worcester and graduated from Westborough High School and the former Burdett College.
Cheryl was a counselor at Westborough State Hospital, retiring due to illness. Prior to that she worked as an admirative assistant to the Dean of Tufts Medical School and she spent several years working at Dennison Manufacturing Company, where she met her husband.
Cheryl enjoyed camping in the great state of Maine, was a voracious reader and loved quilting, especially with the West Boylston Seniors and at the Black Cat in Holden. In her younger years she loved dancing and taking karate classes with her family. She was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church of West Boylston.
A Private Graveside will be held in Mount Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, 01608.
