Christopher M. Hewett

WORCESTER-Christopher M. Hewett, 46, passed away Friday, April 24.

He leaves his mother, Patricia A. Walsh; two step-sisters, Sheila Monahan and Jennifer Cariglia; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins and his beloved dog, Zombie. He was born in Worcester, son of the late, Ronald I. Hewett. He graduated from North High School and Quinsigamond College.

Chris was a senior system infrastructure engineer for Rackspace Technology based in Texas for over 20 years. Chris was a warm and caring man who loved anything that had to do with computers. He lived in Texas for many years, moving home three years ago to take care of father.

A Visiting Hour will be held Thursday, April 30, from 8:30 TO 9:30am in Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10am in St. John’s Church, 40 Temple St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Food for the Poor Program 20 Temple St., Worcester, 01604 or the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St., Worcester, 01606. A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
