Christy A. Pano

WORCESTER
Christy A. Pano, 85, of Worcester died Wednesday, December 22 in St. Mary's Healthcare Center.
He leaves his wife of 54 years, Virginia L. (Mogren) Pano; three sons, Steven E. Pano of Holden, James A. Pano of Avondale, AZ and Kenneth L. Pano and his wife Bonna-Jean of Fiskdale; a brother, George D. Pano and his wife Florence of Westborough; five grandchildren, Christopher Thomas Pano, Rebecca Jean Pano, Emma Jean Pano, Eric A. Friedental-Pano and Daniel M. Pano and many nieces and nephews. A sister, Juliette Bonin predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Nuchi and Eftali (Lecho) Pano and graduated from Classical High School and Suffolk University and Law School. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII.
Christy practiced law in Worcester for 54 years year, before retiring. He was active and served on the parish council of St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church. He was a member of the Massachusetts and Worcester Bar Associations, the Olive Branch Lodge AF and AM and enjoyed playing golf at Holden Hills and Bedrock Country Clubs. Christy enjoyed spending time in his rose garden and loved to travel. He visited Alaska three times and played many rounds of golf at the Belmont Invitational Country Club in Bermuda.

The Funeral will be held Tuesday, December 28, from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Service at 11 AM in St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury St. Burial will follow in All Faith Cemetery. A visiting hour will be held Tuesday, December 28, at 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
