WORCESTER-Clarence H. "Hank" Niles, 80, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Clarence was born in Gainesville, GA, son of Colie and Nena Mae (Watson) Niles. Hank worked in maintenance at the Wellington Street Building Community for many years before retirement.
Hank was predeceased by his beloved wife Evelyn M. Padgett-Niles on June 6th of this year. He is survived by his daughter Natasha Padgett of Worcester, step-son, Carl A. Moore of Atlanta, GA, and predeceased by a step-daughter Lula R. Owens. He was a loving 'Grampa" to five beautiful grandchildren, Casandra, Anthony, Ricardo, Keyana, Natasha, and was predeceased by his grandson, Aaron Moore. Hank also leaves his longtime and dear friend, Joyce Ford and her son, Jamaal.
Hank was a family man and loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed watching old movies, fishing and he was a N.E. Patriots fan. Hank's family would like to thank the staff at Summit Elder Care for the care and assistance that they provided. Special thanks to Julia and Nick for their help as Hank's health declined.
Family and friends are invited to honor, remember and celebrate Hank's life on Saturday, September 15th at Callahan Fay & Caswell Funeral Home. Visiting hours will be held from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 pm. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
