Clarence Q. "Buster" Washington 93, formerly of Whittier Ter., died Thursday, Oct. 21, in SunBridge Spring Valley Nursing Center.
He leaves his wife, Suzanne (Aronian) Washington, a daughter, Adelle Grant of Los Angles, CA, a grand-daughter, Asenath Brown of Lawrence, nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews. His first wife, Asenath (Cardoza) Washington and Idelle Balison, whom he raised, and four brothers, Wardell, Bill, Quincy and JC, all predeceased him. He was born in South Carolina, son of Quincy and Rosa (Magazine) Washington. Clarence owned and operated the former, Mount Laurel Fish & Chip and Aggies Diner, both in Worcester.
The Funeral will be held Thursday, Oct. 28, at 12 p.m. in the Second Baptist Church, 14 Hammond St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Hope Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 11 to 12 p.m. at the Church on the day of the funeral. FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 9 Hammond St. is directing arrangements.
