Claudio Desanti

December 24, 1909 — March 11, 2007

WEST BOYLSTON-Claudio DeSanti, 97,loving father and grandfather passed away at the Odd Fellows Home March 11.

His wife, Deborah (Elce) DeSanti died in 1985. He leaves two daughters, Clara Kernicki of Springfield and Lorraine Gardner of West Boylston; a brother, Dr. Louis DeSanti of McClean, VA; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A brother, Arturo DeSanti and a sister, Rose DeSanti predeceased him.

He was born in West Boylston son of Antonio and Maria (Andrucci) DeSanti and lived here most of his life. Claudio worked at Malden Hill Dairy and retired from Surprenant Manufacturing Co. He was a member of the Naval Reserve Band from 1928-1932, Just Friends and the Hall of Famers. He spent many summers at the shore with his family and will be sadly missed.

Claudio's Funeral will be Wednesday, April 11 from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W. Boylston St. with a Mass at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St. Interment will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. A visiting hour will be from 9:30 to 10:30 AM before the funeral. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608 or to Our lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St., W. Boylston, MA 01583.
