WEST BOYLSTON
Constantin "Costa" Rosis, 80, of West Boylston, died Thursday, Nov. 30, at home. He leaves his former wife, Germain (Wennner) Rosis of Boca Raton, FL; his children, Kathy and her husband Steve Horrigan of Coral Spring, FL, John and his wife Jane Rosis of Nyack, NY and Dan and his wife Julia Rosis of Roswell, GA; two grandsons, Sam and Peter Rosis of Nyack, NY and his caregivers, Leigh and Matt Shircliff and family of Worcester. He was born in Greece, son of John and Dido (Comninos) Rosis.
Costa was a polymer research chemist for Bordon Manufacturing, for many years. Following retirement he was an ombudsman for local nursing homes. He was a member of Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, an avid chess player and enjoyed astronomy and his dogs. The family and caregivers, wish to thank the doctors and nurses at UMASS Memorial-University Campus and UMASS Memorial Home Care.
Memorial visiting hours will be held Sunday, Dec. 10, from 1 to 3 PM at FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston St. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to, the West Boylston Fire & Ambulance Fund, 39 Worcester St., W.
