Cynthia Holt Cummings

Beverly Hills, MI-Cynthia Holt Cummings, 88, passed away Tuesday, February 19 at home surrounded by loving family.

She leaves her beloved husband of 60 years, Richard Howe Cummings; her son, Roger Holt Cummings; four grandchildren, David Michael Cummings, Julia Cummings Dick, Jessica Lynn Cummings and Amanda Susan Cummings and one great grandson, Andrew Dylan Cummings. She was predeceased by three brothers.

She was born in West Boylston the daughter of Henry E. and Mary L. (Thompson)Holt. She was a proud WW II Veteran serving in the West African Theatre and the Italian Theatre as 1st Lt. US Army Nurse Corp. She was an accomplished author and publisher of 11 books of Christmas poetry.

Memorial services were held in suburban Detroit. A private graveside service was held at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, West Boylston, MA. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. Local arrangements were under the care of Fay Brothers Funeral Home, West Boylston.
