Czeslaf "Chet" Parda, 86, passed away at Marlborough Hospital on July 13th, 2024. His beloved wife, Judith E.(Howard) Parda passed away in 2006. Chester was born on February 19th, 1938 in Worcester, son to the late Eleanora (Kaczmarczyk) and Boleslaw Parda.
After graduating from Commerce High School, Chet proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a machine operator at the Henry L. Hanson Company and later at Suprenant Wire and Cable retiring in 2006. He also created a successful small business, Parda's Janitorial Service, that he operated for over 20 years.
During his retirement he enjoyed going to auctions to find different collectibles and playing pitch. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Chet leaves behind many that will miss him dearly including his three children; Dennis C. Parda and wife, Ann, of Fort Wayne, IN, Robert J. Parda and wife, Dale, of Lancaster, MA and Rebecca A. Vignaly and husband, Michael, of Clifton, ME; three grandchildren, James and Thomas Parda and Michael Vignaly, Jr. and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Stanley Parda, Boleslaw Parda, Henry Parda and sisters Leonora (Parda) Motyka and Stasia (Parda) Klewiec.
Family and friends are welcomed to a celebration of Chet's life with a graveside service on Thursday, July 18th at 11:00am in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Church Street, West Boylston.
