Daniel Ankrah

Daniel "Danco" Ankrah, 70, of Worcester, MA, passed away on September  8th, 2023.  He was born on September 23, 1952. Danco was a beloved father, devoted husband, and successful entrepreneur.

 Daniel was the proud founder and owner of Danco Retail Food Outlet Inc, established in 1998. A business that brought joy and convenience to the community. Through his hard work and dedication, he built a thriving enterprise that served as an African supermarket . Danco's commitment to excellence and his warm personality made him a well-respected figure in Worcester county.

 Beyond his career achievements, Danco's true legacy lies in the love he shared with his family. He is survived by his wife Elsie Ankrah; daughters Abigail Ankrah, Una Ankrah, Olivia Ankrah, Odarkor Ankrah, Aretha Ankrah; his sons, Benjamin Ankrah and Daniel Ankrah Jr; Grandchildren, Benjamin Ankrah, Jr., Julius Ankrah, Jayla Ankrah, Rhoda Annang, Mercy Odzemah and Olivia Odzemah.  Danco leaves behind a profound impact on the lives of his family and his memory will forever be treasured. Danco's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him.

 As we mourn the loss of Daniel "Danco" Ankrah, let us remember his kind hearted entrepreneurial spirit, his devotion to his family, and the lasting impact he made on the community. His memory will continue to inspire and guide us.

 Service for Daniel will be on Friday, March 1, 2024 beginning at 8 a.m. at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester, MA. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.
