Daniel P. Lyons, 30, of Spencer died Sunday, May 31.
He leaves his parents, Raymond C. and Patricia (McNamara) Lyons of Spencer; a brother, Sean M. Lyons of Worcester; his maternal grandmother, Margaret T. McNamara of Worcester; his paternal grandmother, Mary A. Lyons of North Billerica; many aunts, uncles and cousins, among them Rev. James D. Lyons of Dracut. He was born in Worcester and graduated from Saint John's High School, Becker College and received his MBA from Nichols College.
Daniel was a workforce schedule administrator for Charter Communications. He was captain of the Baseball Team at Becker College for two years. He was an avid sports fan and loved baseball, football and boxing. Daniel also enjoyed fishing. He was a member of Mary Queen of the Rosary Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 5, at 10 AM in Mary Queen of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St. Burial will be in Mary Queen of the Rosary Cemetery. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, Make of Wish Foundation, One Bulfinch Place, 2nd Floor
