MONSON, MASSACHUSETTS - Daniel R. "Sully" Sullivan born November 8, 1949, age 71, died Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Harrington Hospital in Southbridge, Massachusetts.
Born in Worcester, MA, he attended Burncoat High School before serving in the United States Army. He was devoted to his country. Dan "Sully" worked at many trades including construction, oil and gas. He enjoyed his work as a semi-retired CDL tour and school bus driver.
He was a grateful friend of Bill Wilson and Dr. Bob Smith of Akron, Ohio since February 7, 1979. Recently, he enjoyed traveling cross-country with his wife and two fur babies in their camper-trailer. They all enjoyed quiet, rural living in their peaceful country home. Anyone who ever sat across from Sully at a poker table knows that he never met two cards he didn't like, he could wait for the "Sully Straight" with the best of them. He will be sorely missed by the many family and friends who lost him much too soon.
He leaves his wife, Nakita Sullivan; sons Daniel Sullivan, Jr. and his wife ,Judith, of Virginia and Brandon Sullivan of Mississippi; brothers Patrick Sullivan of Worcester and Edward T. Sullivan and his wife, Katherine, of Indiana; sisters Catherine "KT" Fafard and her husband, Michael, of Webster and Nancy Sullivan of Worcester. Dan also leaves four cousins, many more extended family members and close friends. He is predeceased by his father Edward H.
