David B. Birtz

WINCHENDON/WORCESTER-David B. Birtz, 61, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 19.

He leaves his brother, Stephen P. and his wife, JoAnn Birtz of N. Grafton and his sister, Sandra B. Evans of Whitinsville. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and three great nephews.

He was born in Worcester the son of Bennett B. and Mary A. (Pellegrini) Birtz and graduated from Grafton High School and attended Worcester Junior College. David served with the Navy during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed art, camping, fishing, photography and spending time with his family.

David's funeral Mass will be Tuesday, June 23 at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 1 Wiser Ave. Interment will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no visiting hours.
