David was born April 6, 1961 to Henrietta and Harry Dellasanta at Hahnemann Hospital in Worcester Massachusetts, later moving to West Boylston. He was the third of four children born to Henrietta and Harry.
David attended West Boylston High School, graduating in 1979. He was the owner and operator of Micro Analytical Services, West Boylston MA. He was an avid athlete and outdoorsman, earning his nickname “Cricket” on the basketball court. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking, swimming, and any excuse to visit the White Mountains. A man of many passions with an extraordinary mind, he enjoyed wood working, movies, reading, politics for which he was known on the radio station WTAG as “Dave from West Boylston”, music, collectibles, and animals, which he shared with his friends and family. David was a proud grandfather who adored his granddaughter Noa, and was a kind soul who loved people. He was known to many to genuinely care about those in his life. It is not uncommon to meet someone he knew that would tell you a funny or heartwarming story about him. Another one of his many passions was Wachusett Mountain where he worked as a snow groomer for over 20 years.
David will be loved and missed by many. His struggle with alcoholism took him before his time. His family is asking that those who cared for him do not send flowers but kindly ask that you consider donating to the Foundation for Alcoholism Research (FAR) as 100% of donations are used to fund research on medical treatment for alcohol dependence and addiction.
A Private Funeral Service will be held in West Boylston with a Private Burial in Mount Vernon Cemetery.
