SUTTON-David Alden Johnson, 31, died Monday, June 1, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Barnstable.
He is survived by his son, Noah Alden Daniel Johnson, and Noah's mom Kathleen C. Daniel, both of Charleston, SC; his parents, Robert A. and Lori J. (Anderson) Johnson of Hopewell, NJ; two brothers, Timothy A. Johnson and wife Tonya of Oxford, MA and Mark W. Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO; and a sister Emily J. Trouten and husband Tyler of Ewing, NJ. He also leaves his paternal grandparents, Alan and Ronnie Engstrand of Sutton; nephews Sylus and Jimmy and nieces Vanessa and Annie; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
David was born in Worcester, MA and grew up in Mercer County, NJ, graduating from Hopewell High School. He attended Valley Forge Military College and was currently studying Maritime Safety and Environmental Protection at Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
David's funeral will be held on Saturday, June 6 with a service at 11:00 AM at Bethlehem Covenant Church, 46 Greenwood Street, Worcester. A visiting hour will also be held on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of the service in the church. All of Dave's friends, relatives and acquaintances are welcome to attend. A reception will follow the church service. Burial will be private.
