David T. Roy

SOUTHBRIDGE- David T. Roy, Sr., 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Southbridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
His wife of 53 years, Donna J. (Selby) Roy, passed away on February 12, 2022.
He was born in Burlington, Vermont on September 19, 1946, son of the late James E. Roy, Sr., and Virginia (Zepp) Roy. He was employed for many years as a service manager with Daniel's Brothers until his retirement. David enjoyed traveling and spending time with his wife and friends. He was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. Mr. Roy was a lifelong mason, member of the 33rd degree Masons, past Most Wise Master of the Scottish Rite Chapter of Rose Croix and also a Past Grand Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star.
He leaves behind his children, David T. Roy, Jr., and his wife, Joan of Colorado, Virginia Roy Gervais and her husband, Jonathan of Sutton; and two grandchildren, Ethan and Morgan Gervais, both of Sutton. He was predeceased by his daughter Elizabeth Roy.
A Life Celebration will be held at a future date and will be private. The Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester is honored to be assisting his family with the arrangements. Memorial Donations can be made in his memory to Hospice of Western and Central Mass.
