WORCESTER-David T. Sharon, Sr., 55, of 15 Pomona Road, died Saturday, April 15 at home surrounded by his family. He leaves his wife of 35 years, Ann M. (Cunningham) Sharon, his mother, Doris (Brooks) Sharon, two sons, David Sharon of Worcester and William Sharon of Ascutney, VT, a daughter, Jennifer Derby of Worcester, a brother, Richard Sharon of Woodstock, IL, three grandchildren, Lee and Matthew Derby, both of Worcester and Kaia Sharon of Ascutney, VT. He was born in Worcester the son of Paul Sharon and graduated from Shrewsbury High School and Worcester Junior College.
Mr. Sharon was a steel worker at Wyman Gordon's in Grafton for many years. He was a member of the Corner Stone Community Church, Seed of Abraham and past president of the Connecticut Chapter. He loved folk music, traveling and antiques.
The visiting hours will be held, Tuesday, April 18 from 4 until 7 PM with a funeral service at 6 PM in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street. Burial will be private. For directions and online condolence book www.callahanfay.com
