Dawn M. Blanchard

AUBURN-Dawn M. Blanchard, 59, passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, Sunday, April 30, 2023 in St. Vincent Hospital, surrounded by family.

She leaves two brothers, Christopher R. Blanchard and his wife, Maria of Auburn and Robert E. Blanchard and his wife, Keri of Attleboro.  She leaves one nephew, Michael, and four nieces, Danielle, Sarah, Savannah, and Avery and two great nephews, Henry and Nicola.  Dawn was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Daniel J. and Velma A. (Lind) Blanchard and graduated from Bunker Hill Community College with a degree in culinary arts.

Dawn started her chef career working for the Marriot Hotel. She then worked at the Piccadilly Pub and later joined the staff at the Fay School in Southborough where she spent the next 24 years. She had also been a volunteer Firefighter for ten years for the town of Auburn.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Wednesday, May 3 from 4 to 7pm at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, May 4 at 11:00am at St. Bernard's Church of Our Lady of Providence, 228 Lincoln St, Worcester. Burial will be private in St. Paul's Cemetery, Warren.
