Deborah E. O'Connor 37, of 35 Cranbrook Dr. died Monday (June17) in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center, Worcester after an illness.
She leaves a brother, Michael P. O'Connor of Holden, three sisters, Mary Faucher of Millbury, Kathleen H. Watrous and Jacqueline C. O'Connor both of Holden, several nephews and nieces. A brother Andrew T. O'Connor of Worcester died in 1998. She was born in Worcester daughter of John C. and Catherine A. (McGrail) O'Connor. She graduated from North High School and Quinsagamond Community College.
She has lived two years in Holden prior to that she lived in Worcester for many years.
She worked as a Senior Engineering Technician at Zygo Teraoptix in Westborough for four years prior to that she worked for several years at Corning Company and Quantum Company.
She was an avid Red Soxs and Bruins Fan.
A Funeral will be held Friday (June21) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home (www.faybrothers.com) 9 Hammond St. Worcester with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church 555 Pleasant St. Worcester. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery Worcester. Calling Hours are Thursday (June20) from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
