WORCESTER- Debra M. St.Germain, 63, passed away on May 20, 2020 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Worcester after a brief illness.

Debra was the second child born to "Grandma Rocket" also known as MaryAnn Brackett. Debra was predeceased by her brother, Louis Brackett, and in March of this year her brother, David Brackett. She was also predeceased by her eldest daughter, Melanie St.Germain in 2015.

Debra is survived by her sisters, Darlene and her husband, Robert Olsonn of Leicester, MA.; Her sister, Patricia and her husband, Gary Hildreth, and her sister, Donna Brackett; her brothers Steven and Robert Brackett. Debra also leaves behind her best friend of 50 years, Anne Gerard of Worcester. She also leaves behind her Daughter Michelle St.Germain and her granddaughter "Maggie" Marguerite St. Germain, as well as Melanie's son Steele Ponte of Chatham, MA. Debra also leaves behind many, many nieces and nephews.

Debra or as most knew her "Debbie" grew up in Worcester, was married to Gerald St.Germain. They divorced 20 years ago, but still remained friends. Debra became a CNA in her late 30s, and later worked as a Personal Care Attendant at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester for nearly 20 years. Debra was a great mother, a hard worker, and a good friend. She was always quick with a joke and is known for her "wicked" sense of humor. She was a great cook, she loved to read, and in the summer, she loved the beach.

Debra will be remembered for her humor, honesty, and her strong work ethic. You always knew where you stood with Debbie and if she loved you, she would give and do anything to help you. She even helped care for her ex-husband during his chemo treatments before he passed away in May of 2019.
She adored her grandchildren, Steele and Maggie and was so proud of how smart they both are. She will be deeply missed and her grandchildren will hear "Grandma Debbie Stories" to remind them how funny she was and how much she loved them.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 929 Main St., Worcester at 10:00am on June 26, 2020. Arrangements are in the care of the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester.
