WORCESTER-Dennis M. "Doc Holiday" Guerrin, 73, passed into eternal rest on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Saint Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.
He leaves his wife of 45 years, Pamela A. (Garrow) Anderson Guerrin; two sons, Timothy Guerrin of Worcester and Daniel Guerrin of Marlow, NH; a daughter, Tammy Lucente of Richmond, VA; five grandchildren, Coralynn, Dalton, Pamela, Daniel and Lily; and a great grandson, Grayson. Dennis was predeceased by a brother William Guerrin and a sister, Joyce Zelk. He was born in Gardner, son of Clarence and Mildred (Stone) Alden and served in the United States Air Force.
Dennis worked at General Motors in Framingham for 26 years in Maintenance then transferred to the Lockport, NY plant. He retired with over 30 years with the company and was a union representative for many of those years. After retirement, he stayed active in the UAW, Local 422 Retiree Chapter as a trustee on the executive board. Dennis loved politics, the Boston Red Sox and N.E. Patriots and crossword puzzles. He also worked as a "jack of all trades" and plowed snow for the city of Worcester. Dennis loved life and his family.
Funeral services will be private and are in the care of Callahan Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester.
