Dennis J. Smith, 65, of Oxford died Sat. April 4 in the Odd Fellows Home. He leaves four children, Tammy Willens of Hartland, VT, Michelle Legare of Haverhill, Karla Brothers of Wilder, VT and John Smith of Oxford; two brothers, Richard Smith of Alaska and Carl Smith of Maryland; a sister, Donna Brown of Manchaug; seven grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester, son of John F. and Doris V. (Schonning) Smith and graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School. He was a Navy Seabee during the Vietnam War.
Dennis was a machinist and shovel shooter for Smith Bach and various Government contracted companines along the East Coast and he also worked for TGR West of California, before retiring.
