Diane M. (Holden) Barrett, 70, passed away Sunday, January 26th, 2025.  She was born in Williamsport, PA on March 3rd, 1954, daughter of Lois J. (Klees) and the late Herbert F. Holden.

After graduating college, Diane dedicated 30 years of her life as a Registered Nurse employed by St. Vincent Hospital. She not only worked in the pre and post operating department, but also as the Treasurer at the Nursing Union’s inception, advocating for her fellow workers rights and working conditions. Over the years, she enjoyed gardening and listening to an array of music which was also enjoyed by her husband and two sons. Above all she loved spending time with her family.

Diane leaves behind many that will miss her dearly, including her husband, Robert F. Barrett, their two sons, Patrick and James Barrett and a grandson, Sebastian. She also leaves her sister, Debbie Doldo and her husband, Stephen, her brother, William Holden and his wife, Karen, many nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends are welcomed to a celebration of Diane's life on Thursday, January 30th from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Fay Brothers Life Celebration Home, 1 West Boylston Street, West Boylston. Burial will immediately follow at Rural Cemetery in Worcester.
