Diane B. Racine

WORCESTER- Diane B. Racine, 59, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022.

Diane was born in Worcester and graduated from Doherty Memorial High School. She continued her education at Assumption College where she completed her Bachelor and Master degrees. She was a Behavioral Specialist Clinician for Open Sky Community Services, and formerly at You Inc of Worcester. Her work was a very important part of her life and touched the lives of many. Diane was a volunteer in the local community for many organizations including her favorite; Abby’s House of Worcester. 

She was predeceased by her father, William J. Racine. Diane is survived by her mother, Barbara J. (Senecal) Racine; her daughter, Fawna N. Johnson; two grandchildren, Calvin, and Leanna; and a number of other loving relatives (Laske, Kaminski, Beremian) and close friends (Christine Eisner, Susan Montella-Jelley, Arlette Lynch , Linda Beremian)  including her faithful companion, her dog Sawyer.

Diane loved to read, keep journals, and go for long walks. She enjoyed going to the beach, especially Hampton Beach, NH and York Beach in Maine. Diane had wonderful friends and family who she enjoyed laughing with, spending time with,  going shopping and dining out. She loved life and always enjoyed reflecting on the good times she had with her friends, family, and co-workers. 

Diane will be greatly missed by all. Until we meet again, rest  in the sweetest peace. Fly with the angels to heaven in the comfort of Our Father. 

Visiting Hours to celebrate Diane’s life will be held Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 1-3 pm at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street.
