Dolores Lola Maisonet

WORCESTER-Dolores "Lola" Maisonet, 74, originally from Puerto Rico la Isla Del Encanto, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her husband and soul mate of 53 years, Jose Martel and her caring and loving extended family and friends. She leaves three sisters, Maria, Ana and Juanita; five children, Angel, Maritza, Miriam, Jose, Jr. and Ana Rita. She also leaves 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Lola enjoyed colorful flowers and music, but cooking was her specialty. She built strong family ties. Respect and honesty were some of her special virtues but being helpful to many was her legacy.
Visiting hours are Monday, April 26 from 5-8 PM in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 27 at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. www.callahanfay.com
