AUBURN
Donal J. Burns, 89, of Auburn and earlier of Potomac, MD went to the Lord on Wednesday, May 16. His wife of 53 years, Claire B. (Mitson) Burns died in 2010.
He leaves, five sons, Kevin, Terence, Emmet, Liam and Padraig; three daughters, Moira, Moira Deirdre and Eileen; a sister, Agnes B. Hughes and 16 grandchildren. He was born in Brighton son of John P. and Agnes J. (Agnew) Burns. A brother, John E. Burns predeceased him.
The Funeral will be held Monday, May 21 from Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus–St. Catherine's Church, 600 Cambridge St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury. Visiting Hours are Sunday, May 20 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
