WEST BOYLSTON

Donald R. Geneva, 72, of West Boylston passed away Thursday, May 17.
He was the son of the late Nicholas and Christina (Almstead) Geneva. He leaves his wife of 50 years, Joan M. (Briggs) Geneva; a sister, Doris Fitzpatrick of Leominster; a brother, James Geneva of Holden and many nieces and nephews. He was a life long resident of West Boylston. He graduated from West Boylston High School and served as a U.S. Marine from 1953 to 1956.
Donald worked at Shell Oil Company in West Boylston for 30 years, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed working part time and playing golf at Cyprian Keys Golf Club in Boylston and spending time at JJ's with old friends enjoying coffee, donuts and conversation. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post %236907.
The funeral service will be held Tues, May 22, at 11 AM in FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W. Boylston St. Burial will be private in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Mon., May 21, from 5 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the W. Boylston Fire & Ambulance Fund or the W. Boylston Police Fund, both 39 Worcester St. W. Boylston. 01583.
