Donald C. Schroeder

WORCESTER- Donald C. Schroeder, 69, of Briarwood Retirement Community, formerly of 16 Louise St., died Friday, June 29th in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves several cousins and also his longtime friend and co-worker, Diane Kircher of Worcester. He was born in Worcester, son of Carl A. and Martha V. (Westberg) Schroeder and served in the U.S. Army.

Don worked at Norton Company for 36 years retiring in 1991. He was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Covenant Church. Music was a large part of Don's life and he enjoyed playing the piano and organ. He was also a member of the Mendelson Singers. He was an avid photographer, target shooter, woodworker, engine repairman and motorcycle enthusiast.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 9th at 11:00 AM in Bethlehem Covenant Church, 46 Greenwood Street. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
