Donald B. Wyne, 69, of 11 Marble St. died Wednesday (Jan9) at home after an illness.
He leaves two sons, Donald Wyne and Shawn Wyne both of Northboro, a daughter, Kathleen Flanagan of Shrewsbury, two sisters, Nancy A. Armery and Maureen Cason both of Worcester, two grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Two brothers Frederick E. Wyne Jr. and William F. Wyne both of Worcester and a sister, Noreen L. Richards of Danvers all predeceased him. He was born in Westborough son of Frederick E. Sr. and Mary L. (Bradley) Wyne. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.
He was a manager at The Clark Manor Nursing Home, for several years before retiring prior to that he was the Chief of Police for the Town of Barre and before that he was a Police Officer for the City of Worcester.
He was a member of the Main South American Legion Post %23341.
A Funeral will be held Saturday( Jan12) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home 9 Hammond St. with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's Cathedral. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
