Donna T. Johnson

Donna T. (Carchidi) Johnson, 72, of West Boylston peacefully passed Wednesday, January 20, 2021 surrounded by her Children.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Salvatore and Rosemary (Aiello) Carchidi. She graduated from Doherty High School, lived in Worcester for many years prior to moving to West Boylston.

Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by her loving husband of more than 49 years, Carl Johnson, son James Johnson, daughter Vicki Johnson, granddaughter Amanda Johnson and sister Sandra (Carchidi) Brouillard.

Donna was a loving and supportive mother to Carl S. Johnson and his wife Heidi of Hardwick, Lori (Johnson) Fitton and her fiancé Michael Bavosi of West Boylston, William C. Johnson and his wife Laura of Marlborough and Crystal (Johnson) Clementi and her husband Paul of Leominster; grandmother to Katrina Johnson, Joseph Fitton, Dominic Clementi, Andrew Clark, Austin Clark, Abigail Johnson, Addison Johnson, Angela Johnson, Ava Johnson and Asher Johnson; niece to Sr. Teresa Rose Carchidi. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews and many, many cousins which she held dear to her heart.

Donna worked for many years as a CNA at Oakdale Nursing Home upon retiring she enjoyed working as a private caregiver. Donna and her husband opened their home to many children in need over the years as a Foster Parents. All that entered their home were welcome, loved and felt part of the family. She loved camping and being part of the "C" road gang at Rusnick Campground for more than 35 years. Donna had a passion of cooking for family, friends, and large gatherings her most cherished time was anytime she could spend with her family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Donna's life on Monday, January 25,2021 with calling hours from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Fay Brother's Life Celebration Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston Street, West Boylston. The funeral will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from the funeral home with a mass at 11:00am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester Street, West Boylston.
