Doris F. Blaum

Doris F. ( Paradise) Blaum, 87, of 3 Blue Hill Rd. died Wednesday (Oct..3) at home after an illness.

She leaves a son, Charles E. Blaum of West Boylston, a daughter, Mary V. van der Linden of Worcester,%C2%A0 two sisters, Rita S. Paradise and Barbara L. Healey both of Worcester five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

She was born in Auburn daughter of Francis and Eva (Lagesse) Paradise. She graduated from Saint Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.%C2%A0

She was a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital working as a Supervisor in Pediatrics for many years retiring several years ago.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. She enjoyed music and was an avid reader.

A Funeral will be held Monday (Oct. 8) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home 1 west Boylston St. West Boylston with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church 25 Fales St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
