Doris M. Laporte

WORCESTER-Doris M. Laporte, 88, died Friday, May 7, 2021 at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

She leaves two nephews, Kevin and Keith Simpson, both of Worcester. Doris was predeceased by her sister Edna A. Simpson and three brothers, Almorse, Jr., Donald and Robert Laporte.

Doris was born in Worcester, daughter of Almorse J. Sr. and Mae (Fontaine) Laporte. Doris worked at L. Farber Company for 40 years before her retirement in 1998. She was a longtime parishioner at St. Peter's Church and enjoyed spending time at the beach and her many trips to the Cape and New Hampshire.

A Visiting Hour will be held Friday, May 14th from 9:30-10:30am at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street. Doris's Funeral Mass will immediately follow at 11am at St. Peter's Church, 931 Main Street. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
