Doris (Bartlett) Nelson

AUBURN- Doris M. (Bartlett) Nelson, 103, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 27, 2022. At the Life Care Center of Auburn.

She wife of the late Robert J. Nelson, Sr., who died in 2000.

She was born in North Grosvenordale CT., on July 17, 1919 daughter of the late Edward A. and Flora (Peck) Bartlett. For many years, Doris was employed as a clerk for several local laundry services. Doris enjoyed playing bingo so much, so she played 8 times a week! Caring for her family was her greatest love.

Doris leaves behind her daughter, Lorraine A. Siebenhaar of Charlton; two sons, Paul J. Bruley of Worcester and Walter L. Guyotte of Putnam, CT; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 2^nd at St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge St., Worcester. Arrangements are in the care of the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester.
