WEST BOYLSTON-Dorothy Helen (Robinson) McCormick, 92, passed away on Friday, February 5th at home. Her husband John F. McCormick, Jr. passed away in 1991. Dorothy leaves her children, John "Jack" F. McCormick, III and his wife Pauline, Kevin M. McCormick and his wife Kathy and Virginia "Ginnie" Aiello and her husband Dennis with whom she lived all of West Boylston; two grandchildren, Tara Wardrop of Maine and Katie McCormick of Somerville; three great grandchildren, Evan, Brook and Julia Wardrop. She was predeceased by her two grandsons, Joseph and Daniel Aiello and her sister, Barbara Gilman.

Dorothy was born in Worcester the daughter of Gladys (Molloy) Robinson. She graduated from Major Edwards High School in West Boylston where she was an outstanding basketball player. Dorothy was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and was a founding member of its women's club. She was also a former member of the Women's American Legion Post %23204 Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling and knitting and was an excellent seamstress.

Dorothy's visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 8th from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at FAY BROTHERS Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston St. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 9th at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the West Boylston Fire and Ambulance Fund, 39 Worcester St., West Boylston, MA 01583 or to The American Lung Association of the Northeast, 1661 Worcester Rd %23301, Framingham, MA 01701.
