Earl W. Granlund

SUTTON
Earl W. Granlund, 86, of Sutton died Saturday, May 29, in the Rose Monahan Hospice House.
His wife, Barbara J. (Healy) Granlund died in 2000. He leaves a son, Kevin Granlund and his wife Lynn of Sutton; three grandchildren, Scott, Benjamin and Kelsey; a niece, Carol Dryden of Millbury and a nephew, Peter Pope of Shrewsbury. He was born in Worcester, son of Oscar and Hulda Granlund and graduated from, Rhode Island School of Design and received his Master's degree from Worcester State College. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII serving in the South Pacific.
Earl was a longtime Worcester High School Art Teacher, retiring from Burncoat Senior High School, many years ago.
The Funeral Service will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VNA Care Network c/o of the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, 01608.
