Eduardo Pagan Sr, passed away at UMASS Hospital on March 24th, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Nexadia Pagan-Rivera who passed away on January 6th,2015.
"Eddie", as he was affectionately known as, born to Elena Pagan-Maldonado and Francisco Pagan Sr on September 5th,1963 in Cambridge. He graduated from the Cambridge Rindge & Latin School in 1981 and later retired as a dedicated Captain of Public Safety at Wentworth Institute of Technology where he was employed for 33 years.
Throughout his life, Eddie excelled in his career and touched the lives of many. His commitment to ensuring the safety of others was unwavering, leaving a lasting impact on the community he served. Aside from his professional accomplishments, Eduardo enjoyed woodworking, collecting law enforcement memorabilia and photography. Above all, his greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren who lovingly referred to him as "Papa Dunkie".
He will be deeply missed by his children, Eduardo “Yogi” Pagan, Jr. and wife Jenni-Lyn of Medford, Victoria Pagan and husband Brion Rodrigues of Boston. He was a loving brother to Jose of MA, Francisco Jr., Jacqueline, and Maria Elena all of Puerto Rico. In addition to his immediate family, Eduardo leaves behind a legacy through his grandchildren: Isabela, Sophia, Jonathan, and Caleb all of Medford. He will also be remembered fondly by nieces Jessica Pagan and her sons Nathaniel and Gabriel of Lynn, Erica Pagan and daughter Aleah of Florida; as well as nephew Francisco Pagan III and wife Jadira and their children Jose and Leland of Danvers.
Eduardo Pagan's presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing that he made the world a better place through his kindness, dedication, and love for his family.
Services will be held privately for the family. A celebration of Eddie's life will be at a later date, yet to be determined.
