Edward C. Betzig

BOLTON-Edward C. Betzig, 94, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 23.

He leaves his wife of 53 years, Varsenik (Bedkian) Betzig; his son, Richard "Dick" Betzig of Bolton; three grandchildren, Alex, Natalya and Alexie and many nieces and nephews.

He was born in New York, NY the son of Charles and Amelia Betzig. Mr. Betzig graduated from Colgate University and attended Columbia University. He was a WWII Army veteran. He worked as an economist for U.S. Foreign Service. Mr. Betzig loved nature and was a conservationist. He was a great supporter of the Native American Community.
