Edward F. Quinn 76, of 25 Blanche St. died Tuesday (Oct 1.) at Knollwood Nursing Center, after an illness.

He leaves a sister, Sister Ruth Virginia Quinn S.S.J. of Springfield, several nephews and nieces and great nephews and great nieces. Three brother Joseph F. Quinn, John P. Quinn, Walter V. Quinn all of Worcester and Four Sisters, Mary K. Quinn, Christine M. Novelle, Virginia Quinn, and Sister Ruth Delores Quinn S.S.J. all of Worcester, predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Peter A. and Nora (Marrinan) Quinn.

He graduated from Saint Stephen's High School. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre.

He was a Custodian for the Worcester School Department, prior to that he worked at Thom McCann Company and Crompton Knowles Company.

He was a member of Ascension Church and the Main South American Legion Post %23341.

A Funeral will be held Thursday (Oct3) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home (www.faybrothers.com) 9 Hammond St. with a Mass at 2.p.m. at Ascension Church 40 Vernon St. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Saint John's Cemetery. Calling Hours are Thursday (Oct3) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Fr. Roger La charite, S.S.EEdmundite Missions 1428 Broad Str. Selma, AL 36701-4304
