Edward “Ed” Saucier, 84, of Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away on Wednesday, October 28th, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of wonderful stories, cherished friendships, and a family who loved him deeply.

Ed was a man of remarkable strength, endless curiosity, and a generous heart. From his younger days as a long-haired, motorcycle-riding free spirit, to his proud service in the United States Army, he lived a colorful life filled with adventures across the country and fascinating stories he loved to share.

A talented electrician and natural handyman, Ed found joy in working with his hands and helping others. Whether fixing a friend's electrical problems, snowblowing the entire neighborhood, or sharing coffee and stories with his crew at Dunkin' Donuts, his generosity knew no bounds. He loved golfing, hunting trips with his buddies, and spending time with his extended family.

Ed took tremendous pride in his home, beautiful yard, and beloved garage — a treasure trove of tools, projects, and memories. Nearly everyone who knew him had been recruited at some point to help rearrange something in that garage, a place that held a lifetime of stories. He also had a special tenderness for animals, particularly his beloved Shih Tzus, and the rabbits and chipmunks who visited his yard.

Above all, Ed treasured his family. He deeply loved his Donna, whose unwavering devotion and care carried him through life's many chapters. He was immensely proud of his daughters, Nicole and Richelle, whom he lovingly regarded as his greatest gifts in life.

A man of extraordinary strength and determination, Ed fought until the very end for more time with those he loved, always wanting to keep the party going.

Ed is survived by his loving wife, Donna; his daughters, Nicole Saucier and her fiancé, Andrew Griesinger, and Richelle Hede and her husband, Chris Hede; his sister, June Allen; several nieces, nephews, and family members; and his cherished dog, Sophia.

Ed will be remembered for his generous spirit, unforgettable stories, enduring friendships, and the tremendous love he shared with those around him.

Family and friends are welcomed to a celebration of Ed's life with visiting hours Saturday, October 31st from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester.
