Edward G. Trudell, Sr., 80, passed away Sunday, September 9 in Worcester Health Center.
His wife of 35 years, Joan E. (Weldon) Trudell passed away in 2011. He leaves his son, Edward G. Trudell, Jr. of Worcester; a step-daughter, Cindy Stanley; a step-grandson, David Shays; a sister, Charlotte LaBelle; two brothers, James and Charles Trudell and several nieces and nephew, among them, Theresa and Jennifer Trudell and great-nieces and nephews. Six siblings predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Alfred J. and Ella M. (Dubois) Trudell.
Ed was a machinist for several different companies, retiring from Wright Machine. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing basketball and horseshoes.
A Visiting Hour will be held on Ed's Birthday Wednesday, September 12 from 5:00 to 6:00pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00pm to Celebrate Ed's life at Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street. Burial will be private in Saint John's Cemetery.
